FlipaClip Description

FlipaClip was born out of this creative energy. All they needed to get started was a spark. Samsung was hosting a contest to promote its new Galaxy Note. The brothers came together to create something they had hoped for as children. They drew it up and built the first version within a month. The app was easy to use and people began to love it. They didn't know how the community would grow. FlipaClip has been used by creatives and influencers all over the world to create, animate, share, and share their unique ideas. FlipaClip has provided a platform for amateurs and professionals to share their ideas and create. Did you know that the default animation of the jumping squirrel was created by an off-duty police officer? This shows that anyone can create something special, not just professionals.

    Fun for an intro on how to animate

    Summary: I really like this program as a beginner/intro to animation. It was really nice to be able to see everything come together at the end.

    Positive: I used FlipaClip to start small animations of things my fiance said and I thought were funny. I knew nothing about animating, but I really did like learning pretty quickly how to make small short animations. Very intuitive and straight forward.

    Negative: Sometimes it is hard to go back and edit previous clips. But it isn't too hard once you get it down.

    Excellent animation tool for mobile

    Summary: For someone who does not know animation, this is an undaunting first step to take. Without handholding it introduces you to what simple animating starts with.

    Positive: Lots of options for free users. Allows for animation from very simple to more complex. Can add your own audio and video to the animations.

    Negative: Heavy push to purchase premium features. Purchasing all the premium features does not include any premium audio packages, which will still run you another $8.
