    Summary: I still favor using the app and will be likely to shop at retailers that carry this point system (if not their own) versus other companies where I don't get rewarded for my business purchases.

    Positive: It's an easy app, that I've had since back in the days when they gave you a mini key card for your key chain.

    Negative: Not all the retailers carry this app anymore. So it's harder to get credited for ones points, so I only shop at vendors that give some sort of reward system.

    Summary: The deals I get are awesome. I just wish I knew when they were having them, and how many points I have at each place, so I can remember to use my rewards before they expire.

    Positive: Though there aren’t a lot of places in my area that use Fivestars, I visit the ones that do quite often. I’ve saved so much using this app, it’s so worth it!

    Negative: Not a lot of places in my area that use it, and I also don’t get notifications from the app, even though I have them all turned on. I’m not sure what that’s about, but I would like to get notifications about suggested places near me that use it, and about deals that are going on at least at the places I use it at.

    Great diversity of local shops and chains!

    Summary: Overall, it has been a postiive experience and I enjoy the concept of an all-in-one "stamp card" . There are a few kinks as previously mentioned, but if those were to be fleshed out, this would constitute a "killer app/concept".

    Positive: I really like the amount of different shops, chains and restaurants that use the Fivestars platform! They also have a very clean design. As someone who works with UI designers a lot, it is very well designed, user-friendly and intuitive!

    Negative: There are a few glitches with reward notifications so that can confuse the user a bit. I also don't really like how the rewards for one varies by location (i.e. a store in Irvine has different point rewards than the same store/franchise in Buena Park).

    Earn Points from Multiple Businesses with One Card

    Summary: I've been a Fivestars rewards user for about 6 years now and I'm still a Fivestars rewards user today. It's not often that I use it since some businesses don't really promote that they use Fivestars rewards to attract customers, but when there's a business that does, I always make sure to get some points in. It's a really great idea but it's a shame that a lot of businesses aren't on this train. I personally think it's efficient and love this program. I feel like it could be better and more user-friendly.

    Positive: I really like how versatile it is. When Fivestars was just starting, I got a physical card that works like any shop rewards card but I made sure to link it to my phone in case, which makes it easy in case I forget or lose the card. You can check your points and any stores you've visited on the website. You can also see stores that use the Fivestars rewards program locally or far away. On the website, I can also save some deals and try new places. Very convenient and easy to use. One card/phone number helps you get rewards from many businesses that have the program. It's free for customers to be a part of, too. The program relies on the phone number and there's an easy tablet-like computer in which you can input your phone number and see if you've earned points or if you want to use points or not which gives customers the freedom to choose whether they want to save a reward they've earned for their next purchase or use it now. They also send information about certain promotions to my email.

    Negative: I wish more companies would use this type of rewards system. It'd be more efficient if they did. Therefore, there's a limited use for the card if there isn't many places that do Fivestar rewards. Some companies may choose to stop Fivestar rewards at any time and then you could lose your points without any warning, so it'd be best if customers know ahead of time especially if their rewards or promotions are expiring to better manage them in a user-friendly interface. Fivestar rewards uses our phone numbers for adding and tracking points so maybe if there could be an opt-in part where we can text a number and ask us any pending promotions or points that we may have for the shops we've visited so far and accumulated points. The website is something I don't frequently visit and so I wished that they could send notifications (as an opt-in or opt-out choice) to your registered phone. Sometimes it's difficult to see the emails because there are so much emails that come in per day and I end up missing a lot of promotions or alerts. If I was more aware of the notifications of promotions or rewards, I might be able to increase my usage of the rewards program.
