Summary: We moved over from another tool because we wanted more certainty on file quality and less manual template work, and that’s pretty much what we got. It’s the logo editor on our webshops in several countries, so customers make and preview their design and the print-ready file goes straight to our supplier. We also use it internally for files customers send in through a manual quote. The biggest win for us is conversion: we still see a significant difference on gifts and merchandise products with the design tool enabled versus without it.

Positive: The product database is big and has items from lots of different suppliers, which suits our wide assortment. Customers can design and preview their product themselves and we get a print-ready file back, so we hardly need to talk to customers or suppliers about files anymore. Automation saved us a lot of template work and we get fewer complaints. The team is easy to work with too.

Negative: I’d love to see more product types than just merchandise and clothing, for example paper products. The integration also wasn’t plug-and-play: it was custom, as we had to link our product info. Makes sense, because we have a very extensive assortment with lots of different SKUs.

Summary: We use FastEditor for PromoBuddy, our Dutch marketplace for promotional products, where buyers can put their logo on products and order directly. What stands out most is the people behind it. They respond quickly, think along with you and help you shape your platform, not just the FastEditor part but the bigger picture too. Highly recommended for anyone selling customizable products.

Positive: The team responds incredibly fast and is personal and ambitious. They also give useful advice: they suggested loading the editor in an iframe instead of a redirect, and they're working on a smoother mobile flow. When our pages loaded slowly, they cut load time from about 7 seconds to 0.5 seconds within one day. Our customers can design their logo on products online, which is the core of our promotional products marketplace.

Negative: It's not yet possible to create a product in FastEditor ourselves from arbitrary photos. Being able to upload our own product images and turn them into customizable products would be a great addition for us.

Summary: Perfect and ideal solution for promotional distributors and end customers.

Positive: We use it for the webshops of many distributors; it is a perfect and easy solution to create printready artwork. Both end customers and the distributors themselves can easily add their logo and fully personalise the product. This simplifies and speeds up the process from the customer placing an order to the supplier delivering the goods.

Negative: No Cons.

Negative: I would like to see the tool expanded to include more promotional product suppliers.

Summary: Overall, we are very satisfied with FastEditor. It is a valuable addition to our daily workflow and helps us create digital proofs and prepare artwork much more efficiently. The tool is easy to use and saves our team a lot of time, especially when handling large numbers of customer requests. There is still room for improvement in product availability, but we see great potential in further automating our artwork process with FastEditor.
