Great Network Monitor Software and Even Better Customer Service Date: Dec 24 2020
Summary: When I deployed this software on our NAS, it was super easy and setup was a breeze. Only issue or questions I had was with monitoring devices / services from their external ips / ports. And when I had another issue, I submitted a ticket not expecting a response until the next day and my issue was solved within minutes.
Positive: Was super easy to deploy and automatically scanned / discovered devices on the network. Customer Service was also super amazing when I had an issue. Submitted an issue not expecting a response until the next day and my issue was solved within minutes.
Negative: Setting up monitoring for my website was a little confusing especially since I use no standard ports for certain services.

Very Happy Edited: Dec 23 2020
Summary: Highly recommended! For £20 pm you will be hard pushed to find anything better.
There are many other remote access products but I have found them to be fiddly or time consuming, not to mention costly. We are a startup so cost is obviously very important to us. Domotz provides exactly what we need, with a simple interface and ease of use.Positive: Very easy interface, multiple installation options like Ubuntu, Synology and Docker to name a few. Easy setup which allows me to deploy within minutes. Recently deployed three agents to remote locations. The VPN feature allows us to keep full control.
A nice touch - the VPN can be configured to access via custom ports. I have a single box solution for a remote customer that is running a Type 1 Hypervisor and multiple VM's and Containers within. I can access everything via the VPN without any human involvement, which given the locations, is a must.
I also use the Android app for alarms (I can also access remote devices through the VPN from my phone) and this works well. remember to disable battery control on your Android, otherwise alarms can be delayed.
If using SNMP PoE devices, you can power cycle the port on the switch via the web interface or app. It also has great recognition of well known devices and will group them if required. For example, our office has several Samsung Smart TV's as well as Ubiquity network equipment. They have each been grouped which allows for quick access.Negative: None that hinder my requirements. The map (when using SNMP devices) is quick to populate however, you are unable to modify its layout or add colour. This would be a nice touch. But this does not discourage my use of the product.

Domotz - Time Savings and Better Decision Making Date: Dec 16 2020
Summary: Easy setup with multiple/flexible options. Domotz gives me amazing insight and intelligent reporting that makes my techs 2x smarter and more efficient. No more hunting through static netmaps, or hunting down the root cause, Domotz gives me all the information I need in an instant.
Amazingly affordable for the features and possibilities. I've only been a user for 6-7 months, but I'm finding new use cases for Domotz daily.
While I haven't rolled this out to my whole portfolio of 500 sites yet (12k cameras), the business case is an easy decision to help me manage our ever growing business.Positive: Easy Deployment/Setup.
Intelligent Design/UI/UX.
Detailed Insights.
Easy to Manage.
Global view of issues.
Network Topology - the greatest thing ever.
Amazing support team.Negative: If I had to get nitty gritty, the only thing I don't like is that I can't close out of a popup window by clicking outside of it...and that they "X" to close it out isn't in an ideal location.

Perhaps I'm still in the honeymoon phase still, but for the price I can't knock Domotz for anything. -

Easy Network Monitoring Date: Dec 04 2020
Summary: Overall we are extremely pleased with this software service. The amount of details provided within the software is worth its weight in gold. We are so excited about this software and it has closed so many gaps that we were looking for with network monitoring.
Positive: I like that Domotz made things simple to install and start-up. We were able to test the product to determine if it was a good fit for us and our customers. They integrate with our PSA also, which was a plus. The pricing model is simple and it works so we can use this software on all our clients eventually.
Negative: The only slight ding I would say is that the integrations cost extra for certain things but I get the reasoning behind that after speaking with our rep and we were able to overcome that obstacle.

The best remote LAN management tool!!! Edited: Nov 13 2020
Summary: Highly satisfied with my experience with Domotz. I've been using it for around 5 years, and I will keep using it.
Positive: The ease and power for the solution. It provides all kind of information, from simple one such as devices status, inventory and information, to advanced ones such as remote control and management.
Negative: Sometimes it gets too technical. Some of the tools provided are too advanced for me, such as SMTP. I guess is just a matter of going back to the books and doing some testing.

Must Have MSP Tool Edited: Oct 01 2020
Summary: Domotz is a great tool and a must have tool for MSP. Not only is the software killer, their support is 5 stars!
Positive: Domotz is a must have MSP tool. It gives us the ability to not only monitor and configure custom alerts for each of our clients but it allow us to quickly resolve issue right from the application or mobile app. Being able to quickly restart an access point, turn on PoE on a port or create a tunnel to remotely access needed resources is super powerful.

Easy to Use Intuitive Monitoring Tool Date: May 08 2020
Summary: Through my career as a sysadmin, tech director and Information Security Officer I've used and managed some of the most well known monitoring platforms in the industry such as PRTG, Nagios, etc. Domotz hands-down has the easiest configuration and some unique features that others do not. I would highly recommend this platform to anyone looking for LAN/device monitoring and an added layer of network security (determining when rouge devices connect). If I had one complaint it would be that they don't have a "home" user pricing tier. Most other large platforms (Splunk, Nagios, PRTG, to name a few) encourage tech professionals and enthusiasts, who also make professional buying decisions, to use their platform at home. Having said that, the pricing for professional use are very affordable. Overall would recommend to anyone.
Positive: The Domotz platform is very easy to setup, easy to manage, and has many valuable use cases. The design of the application is very well thought out.
Negative: The pricing structure is a bit immature compared to similar other apps.

Works great for US! Date: May 04 2020
Summary: Liked it enough that I bought a subscription for my house as well as Work! It is great being able to remote in to any system on the network form any where I have internet access!
Positive: Great Piece of software - Installed it in an Ubuntu VM on Proxmox and was up and running in less than 20 minutes. Where the schools have all been forced to go online, we needed a way to monitor all of online systems and know immediately if there were any issues. Domotz does that, email, Push Notifications, alerts when system gets overloaded, goes down etc... With the ability to remote into our servers and network equipment from the house - I haven't had to go to the CFCC Campus in 6 weeks or more. Highly recommend!
Negative: Would be better if you could scan more than a /24 network
