Dokumint is becoming my go-to documentation environment for all my clients! Date: Jul 31 2026
Summary: Having been in the IT world for over 40 years, I've used just about every tool to come along to track my IT environments for my clients and they've all done just a small portion of what was needed. I'd move on to the next tool, and they would usually fall into disuse from not quite meeting my needs for an environment that changes frequently, sometimes daily.
Since finding Dokumint and working with Mike, I can say I've found a tool that actually makes the process much easier to maintain as environments change and grow. Mike has also been extremely resourceful when I would come across some tweak that would make a process even better and would rapidly implement it.Positive: There are so many features in Dokumint that tackle the difficult process of documenting the infrastructure, processes, and other key areas of information that an MSP needs to manage their customers. It would also be an invaluable tool for an internal IT team.
I don't want to rehash the dokumint.io website because all the features are listed there and easily explain just how broad the coverage is for and MSP/Internal IT Team.Negative: I honestly can't find many cons to Dokumint. I think the main challenge will be to keep adding more integrations to support all the various tools that are on the market that will allow Dokumint to be the single source of truth. It already has a very strong head start on the key integrations.
