Slick Product, would prefer longer payment time

    Date: Sep 03 2021

Summary: Overall a positive experience, slick interface, fast and clear approval process. But as mentioned before they should have longer float like other corporate cards.

Positive: Their interface is very slick and easy to use. Freezing and unfreezing cards plus setting default transactions is very helpful for record keeping.

Negative: Longer payoff time, other corporate cards don't have the payment in the exact same month as a transaction, but 30 days post month close. There is less of a benefit for managing float with Divvy.

incredible interface, hoping for more features

    Date: Aug 05 2021

Summary: Divvy is incredible at what it does -- our only criticism is that we wish it would do more! Their support is friendly, personal, helpful and we'd love to do all our business finance with them.

Positive: We love how slick and easy Divvy is. We came over from Expensify, which was a constant headache. Divvy easily syncs with Quickbooks. It's a breeze for the team to use and myself to administrate.

Negative: We hoped Divvy would be a "one stop shop" for our needs. We are still waiting for more robust reimbursement features (namely the ability to do ACH reimbursements) and would love a bill pay option to be integrated, rather than separate on bill.com.

    A thorough and solid product

    Date: May 12 2021

Summary: It was very fast to get on board and start up. The card took a while to come in but the account set up was very easy. I'd like more use cases for different types of business to see the potential and also an easier way to add multiple bank accounts for us profit-first people. Love it overall and it makes transacting and accounting a bit simpler.

Positive: The potential to have additional cards and protect your main accounts is crucial. I'm always tracking spending per project and this level of organization is great considering the low effort that I have to put it. I've been able to set up multiple projects and start spending with employees as well as learn from their weekly webinars.

Negative: I feel like more of an overview of the potential is important. It's helpful to know what the product can do so that a designer like myself can place my business and my team on board faster.

    Lots of options

    Date: May 12 2021

Summary: Customer service has been responsive. I have found that transactions can show as completed even though a receipt has not been attached.

Positive: Customization of budgets and category types is good. The ability to add people is easy as is creating budgets.

Negative: Payments pend for too long. I don't have a problem with weekly payments but having to wait five business days for a payment to post is too long. This cuts into the actual amount of usable credit.

    Great tool for Management freedom

    Date: May 11 2021

Summary: We are really happy with Divvy and have had positive experiences as a company. With employee cards it has taken a huge burden off of our upper management and we are able to focus on more important work rather than cash accounting for employee gas runs.

Positive: We love the ability to delegate spending responsibilities to employees with clear limits. This takes a huge burden off of upper management.

Negative: We really would love greater support for QuickBooks desktop integration. And clearer support instructions for budget setup vs virtual cards.

    Great Expense Management Tool

    Date: Jun 17 2020

Summary: I highly recommend, definitely time saving! All my colleagues are happy with it (better than sending excel sheets back and forth).

Positive: Everything in the same place: expense, receipt and accounting code.
Comes with personal card for each user.
    Transparency if needed.

Negative: Setting might be tricky sometimes if you are not an admin.

Divvy, its good but needs a little more

    Date: Jun 17 2020

Summary: Love it and so does my accounting team.
Ease to setup and get someone registered.
We got this software to fulfill a need, it almost does everything in one software but as the software adds items it will become a more valuable asset to our company.

    Positive: Love the software.
    Budgets made easy.
    Love personalized cards.
    Love control over budgets.
This software is the perfect fit for a company that has staff in multiple locations needing approval and the ability to spend.

Negative: Need email to be added to approval process.
Need ability to decline charges, sometimes staff is allowed to spend over budget.

    Divvy for Small Construction Business

    Date: Jun 17 2020

Summary: I think Divvy is an awesome solution for companies looking to move away from expense reports and credit card reconciliation reports. Worth the move!

Positive: Divvy is affordable (no cost to the company), allows us to have control over spending and assists us in putting costs to projects quickly.

Negative: Divvy is a newer software and there are still a few weird things that I notice when I review expenses and try to organize our budgets. The idea is there, but I would personally make a few changes to better serve my company.

    Mid-sized healthcare company

    Edited: Jun 17 2020

Summary: Positive overall, slight hiccups as times but lightyears ahead of traditional bank card programs.

Positive: User interface is friendly. There is a lot of customization that makes sense for our organization. Enjoy the virtual card functionality, as well as real-time spend allocation to infrequent card users.

Negative: Limited ability to change administration features. Multi-division reporting has been a challenge. Turnover in account managers.

Positive: - Really simplifies your entire cashflow and receipt management.
    - Easy to segment the process into individual departments that you might have in your company.
    - The best part is that all of this is free!

Negative: - The app has very limited features.

Helpful for large transactions, but promise of credit building is misleading

    Date: Jul 20 2022

Summary: Overall, it is a satisfactory solution to one of my problems of needing to routinely perform large vendor transactions. There's plenty of features that seem beneficial to a bigger company but aren't relevant to my business. I'm disappointed that I was sold on "building credit", which hasn't happened.

Positive: I like this card because I routinely make purchases that would be considered too large for my bank's daily transaction limit. I can use Divvy to do business with my vendors without wiring money. I am a very small business, so some of the features of team expenses isn't pertinent to me, but it seems like it would be a great feature to grow into.

Negative: One thing I am disappointed in is the false promise of building credit. My company is young, so I am trying to build corporate credit. Divvy's credit builder (prepaid card) was sold under the pretense that in 6 months, they'd evaluate your history with them and open up a monthly line of credit upon approval. I've now been with Divvy for 9 months and have made $80k in transactions, but was denied any credit upon my request for an account review. As this was the main reason I signed up, I'm pretty disappointed.

The budgeting aspect of the platform, while helpful, was also unclear and hard to figure out how to work with. I wasn't aware that I had to set certain parameters to my budgets and assign them properly to each virtual card, so for a while I was attempting transactions with vendors that kept getting denied.

Also, I am tired of the trend of chat-style customer service. It takes forever to solve a problem when you have to wait 5-10 min in between every chat exchange. I just don't have time to sit staring at the chat box waiting for someone to respond. It also is taxing trying to explain a technical problem via text and realizing 30 min through a chat that you haven't been able to successfully communicate the issue. I wish companies would allow you to at least sit on hold for a while if you desire the option to speak with a live person.

Lastly, they advertise great rewards, but the fine print is you can't access these until an entire year into your history with them.

    Divvy

    Date: Jan 19 2022

Summary: There are definitely areas that can be more user friendly, but it works for my needs right now. I give it 3 stars.

Positive: I appreciate how they open accounts for new businesses without the hassle. I also like that they send out cards for other users in the account.

Negative: I just wish depositing money transaction happened sooner than a weeks time. Also, which contacting support by phone was easier.

    Streamlined Expense Management

    Date: Jun 17 2020

Summary: Great platform and fantastic staff; overall a pleasure to work with. These are challenging times for managing cyber risk and fraud so we are patient with the various risk management moves.

Positive: Easy and intuitive to set up and roll out.
Fast, accurate help chat and responsive customer service.
Listen to feedback to improve features and functions.
Streamlined our expense management processes significantly.

Negative: Fraud and risk management could be more sophisticated; blanket charge declines at a variety of big box store locations, no notice risk management user lockouts that you have to call in to understand and reverse, lengthy charge dispute investigation process while they block access to your credit availability if there is a fraudulent charge.

Great product but could be better for mobile.

    Date: Jun 17 2020

Summary: It’s great and worth it. I wish there were more capabilities in customizing the aspects, like categories of spending.

Positive: I love the ability to instantly allocate funds for anyone. It’s killer for remote teams and especially salesman.

Negative: I can’t create cards or budgets on mobile devices.
