Disroot Description
Disroot offers secure email services accessible through both desktop clients and a web-based platform. The communication between the user and the mail server is safeguarded with SSL encryption, maximizing privacy for all users. Additionally, outgoing emails from our server are encrypted using TLS, provided the recipient's email server is compatible, ensuring messages are sent in a secure manner rather than as exposed "postcards." Our webmail interface is powered by RainLoop, a contemporary solution that is user-friendly, efficient, and packed with essential features. Users can personalize their experience by selecting unique background images and can view conversations in a threaded format. The interface is available in multiple languages, catering to a diverse audience. Furthermore, users can create rules to automatically manage their emails, such as moving or copying them to designated folders, as well as forwarding or rejecting specific messages. With the ability to add contacts and integrate Nextcloud contacts directly into the webmail, users can easily manage their communications and maintain organization. Overall, Disroot prioritizes user experience while ensuring robust security measures are in place.
