Positive: - It has one of the best and user-friendly user interfaces.
- The support team is very quick and fast in solving user problems.
- The GUI is also very simple and intuitive.

Negative: - The session sometimes ends abruptly.
- The API information can be incorrect sometimes.

Summary: Overall I had a great experience and I recommend this to anyone searching for a good asset tracking tool.

Positive: Its a good tool with easy implementation. Soon after deploying and ingesting data we are making smarter IT decisions already.

Negative: The UI is a major con - and not only for documenting but also usage.

Summary: Device42 helps in managing and perfecting the operations of all the business infrastructures. Also, Device42 has the automated means of perfecting the nature of business success rate.

Positive: Device42 is a program that helps in documenting all the business or individual infrastructure in a firm. Again, Device42 remains to be a stable and automated program, suitable for all generations.

Negative: Device42 has some installation fee, which is quite high, and some persons may lack the required finances or fees.

Summary: Device42 is a great CBMD tool with a great UI and countless functionalities, there are some bugs present in device 42, but they are not prominent.

Positive: -It is the most comfortable administrator of all for the CMDB asset tools.
-The User Interface is easy and unmatched in terms of functionality and user-friendliness.
-You get a lot of useful information like last login users, host information, HW information, visual topology information.

Negative: -You get randomly logged out from it. It might be a glitch or bug; other than that, I haven't faced any other issue.

Summary: Overall, Device42 is very easy to install, use and create a backup for the future. API works great, saving you a lot of time.

Positive: - The User Interface and Graphical User Interface both are amazing, simple, and fast, and it does not take any time to load the graphics.
-You get to see the visual topology information that helps a lot and saves time.
-You can give it entire subnets to scan and wait till it discovers the environment.
-The pricing is great.

Negative: -It isn't easy to find the correct and relevant information on the API.
-It does not work very well if you are using it on a virtual machine.

Summary: Overall, the application provides auto discovery after which the optimized use of all the devices possible which leads to less power consumption and better coordination between devices.

Positive: Managing all the software and hardware present in the organization was never this easy.
I have been using this to manage the access of all my devices and monitoring them.
Features like auto discovery, tracking of components of infrastructure is seamless because of the user interface.

Negative: Some cons of the Device42 i came across is price of the software and the time it takes to get used to the vast features that is available.

Summary: A good network and data management software must satisfy the needs of a user working with it without facing any major issues. Device42 is one such app and I recommend this software to everyone. It can be a little expensive but also worth all the penny.

Positive: - Very good data management.

- Provides numerous management functions.

Negative: One will have to spent a considerable amount of time to get used to the software and the features. Also UI needs a revamped and polished look for any amateur to catch up.

Positive: The product is definitely value for money, once it has been integrated into your business, you will have a good resource audit database

Negative: I can't really think of any cons with this product, we are very happy with it.

Summary: Probably one of the most comprehensive DCIMS products out there, and the auto-scanning, inventory, and device associations make it easy to get a lot of details about what you have and what it's connected to.

The interface, documentation, and usability all have the feel of "Does it work? OK, good enough." without ever thinking about whether the user experience encourages people to use it more or integrate it into their workflow.

We rely on it, and it is pretty effective, but no one enjoys using it, and I'm positive we'd get more ROI if it were pleasant to set up and use.

Positive: Auto-inventory is very thorough;
Device association is fantastic (e.g. MAC-IP-device-host-switch-dns);
Support is responsive;
Tons of features and integrations;

Negative: Interface is dated and very basic;
Licensing model requires you to keep paying for decommissioned devices to preserve details about them;
Adding disconnected devices (e.g. undeployed inventory) is frustrating; Documentation is poor (making the many features hard to actually use);

Negative: Occasionally the system may be slow which can cause decrease in speed of completing tasks.

Negative: The user interface and the graphics used in the software feels a bit outdated in use.

Summary: In general, this product is great to work with and has scaled with our business needs. It was very helpful to have during the Covid-19 lock downs.

Positive: Device42 is a great software product that our business team really requires to work on a day to day basis. It is very helpful and really increases productivity.

Negative: Not many issues specifically with the product or software. There could be some more functionality built into the product.

- Floorplans. One can add any equipment if one wants and see it on the layout

Positive: The Room, Rack, and Device model layouts are some of the best features in Device 42. Very much a lightweight Visio for building server rooms, cable diagrams, and rack elevation diagrams for ones IT companies.

Negative: The UI is a bit dated, lacks modern graphic elements like one we need for a pure data center operations.

Summary: I had a good experience using Device42 - i would recommend it mostly due to its customizability + its support staff.

Positive: I like how customizable and versatile of an infrastructure platform Device42 is. The support is better than its peers.

Negative: It can feel slow at times/somewhat laggy, due to how central it is.

Summary: Over all I can say that its a very productive tool. In my entire career I have work with many tools but this one is really amazing. I have always recommend this tool to everyone.

Positive: I have been working on this tool since long time. It a very efficient and reliable tool. It gives a good user experience to the user.

Negative: Nothing much to write. But if possible try to make some changes or upgradation in the user interface.
