Summary: As a user, it's the best VDR I've ever used. In particular, I really appreciate the possibility to have previews of documents directly online and that downloads are very fast. In addition, compared to the main competitors, there are no compatibility issues on document names with Windows, once documents are downloaded.

Positive: - well organised VDR

- presence of a "new documents" section, where recently updated documents can be easily found and filtered
- easy and user friendly Q&A section
- fast downloads, with VDR index completely compatible with Windows operating system.

Negative: - absence of clear notifications for users in case a document is re-uploaded by the counterparty with the same reference

Summary: Outstanding. I hate the feeling of having a problem with a VDR late at night or on the weekend and being stuck on hold with phone support for 30 minutes. Datasite takes care of me right away. But the even better news is that I don't need to call in the first place most of the time as the UI is so intuitive.

Positive: Datasite is more efficient than competitors because it is intuitive--there is no difficulty navigating the site, figuring out bulk downloads, etc. And support is always uber responsive when I need it.

Negative: Nothing--Datasite gives me everything I need and nothing I don't want

Summary: My experience with Datasite has always been positive; we also recommend it to clients when hosting large volumes of documents.

Positive: The documents can be easily organized into folders and the search function is great. It is one of the best VDR platforms, particularly for large volumes of documents.

Negative: No cons - one of my favorite VDR platforms; really is a great platform

Summary: It's my preferred data room. I recommend it to all bankers and clients. It's easy to use and has been excellent.

Positive: So easy to use and the staff is helpful. It has a lot of helpful and unique options - i.e. marking documents read and unread, download unredacted/redacted, seeing things published in a certain time frame, etc.

Negative: The search function could be refined a bit more, but it works.

Summary: Overall, it is a great product. I think allowing easier access to the portal and avoiding the red tape around authentication would be great.

Positive: Ease of use and downloadability. I also liked how straightforward the interface is and that there is a representative that can easily walk you through if there are any question - which there are usually none.

Negative: I do not like the authentication security. It can get quite cumbersome.

Summary: Datasite has become our "go to" source for M&A projects. I expect we will continue to use Datasite as more projects come online.

Positive: Datasite has become our go to for data sharing on both M&A projects. The ease of processes as well as the customer service experience is always on point.

Negative: Nothing that I can say so far in my experience. Every project has been easy to work on.

Summary: Overall, I have had a great experience using Datasite over the past four years and do not plan on switching from it going forward.

Positive: Variety of analytical tools and insights offered in simplified dashboards, with the ability to dig deeper into certain areas.

Negative: Very few material negatives, if any. The Q&A feature is not as efficient as party to party email question and answers.

Summary: Best VDR platform available. Have used multiple on the buyside (hosted by sell side) and our preference is always Datasite.

Positive: Ease of use for members across the organization. Datasite also provides multiple training options for new users.

Negative: Billing processes can be convoluted with multiple projects.
