Cryptomator's technology is up-to-date and encrypts files and filenames using AES and 256 bits key length. Xecrets Ez is not dependent on Internet, administrative privileges, or installation. It allows you to encrypt and decrypt files and open them for editing with just a few clicks or drag-and-drop. It is a frontend for Xecrets Cli which is an open-source and free command-line program that handles encryption, decryption, and secure wiping. The command line is also available for download and can be used separately to script and integrate into other software.
