Summary: We have been using this daily for about 9 months now as both an admin and users, and it has completely changed how we run things. With previous companies, I could never get decent support, and when I finally did, the solution was always a total band-aid fix coupled with a vague promise of a future feature that never came. Having total ownership over our data and a system that replaces closed platforms like Court Reserve like software or Club Automation like software without the massive monthly overhead has been incredible. Definitely recommended!! Oh, and they keep updating and adding features!
Positive: Honestly, ClubOps Global has been a business-saving game-changer for running my location. I handled the initial setup, installation, and handle the daily admin work (my team does as well), and it is a massive relief to have a complete, unified platform built directly on the website we already had (WordPress). Instead of paying for a punch of fragile, disconnected booking plugins and sticking them together and praying they don't break (what we originally did before moving to CA by Dax...), everything actually talks to each other.. the courts and bays to memberships, waivers, Calanders.. it's perfect... oh... and the CRM.
Pricing? Not only uncommon in my industry, it is completely unheard of. Having everything together for a one time fee instead of being locked into a system where you get drained by monthly subscriptions is huge for the bottom line! And that's what I mean by "Business Saving" ..I can't stress that enough. Some of these other monthly subscription systems cost more in just a few months than this whole platform does outright.
I probably shouldn't say another company's name in a review, but we previously used a major club automation ;) system by a company beginning with "D." (think they bought the "Club Automation" system...They actually have fewer features than this, and their support either never updated anything or took 30 days just to give us a band-aid solution while promising a fix in a future update that never came. The people who built this definitely had bad experiences themselves because it directly fixes all the real-world pain points....including split billing, it has a built in PWA (which is a webapp, even sends them push notifications if they enable it!).Negative: Not many, The pros give a bit to cons. Because it is a massive, full-scale operations engine and not just a simple calendar widget, getting it all configured takes patience, but the gentleman was helpful the whole way and even logged in to guide us. He did offer to do the setup, but we wanted to do it ourselves so we can learn. Dialing in the household rules, the split billing emails, and the page templates means you have to sit down and do the work during setup, but the built-in launch checklist helps you make sure everything is actually working before you go live. To be fair, there is pre-set generic wording already set. You can set the company name (it's white label) and email address and just be done. but we have a massive customizable system that does everything we need so we took our time to brand it and make the email etc ours. So while a "con" it was our choice.
