Chromis POS Description

The Chromis Logo at top has been changed, as some of you may have noticed. After many conversations, it was decided that a cleaner logo was needed. This logo will be used in the next version of Chromis POS. The development of a new version Chromis POS is currently underway. It is currently being developed against OpenJFX 11. OpenJFX has been redesigned to be used as a development platform. This is due to changes in the Oracle Java licence model. The embedded Derby database engine will also be deprecated. There are new features such as a loyalty system and gift card. Chromis POS is still in its early stages of evolution. It was created after I found Unicenta, an open-source POS, while searching for a Point Of Sale solution for a friend's tropical fish shop.
