You can save space by installing a real CCR2004.. inside your server! This unique product combines a 2x25 Gigabit PCIe Ethernet adapter and the impressive capabilities of a full-fledged router. The default configuration of the PCIe interface is to display four virtual Ethernet interfaces. Two interfaces are available in passthrough mode to the 25G SFP28 boxes. The remaining two virtual Ethernet-PCIe connections are connected to the Gigabit Ethernet port for management. Since we have fully functional RouterOS, the user can freely configure all interfaces and settings. A new Passthrough mode was created to allow this CCR device as an NIC. A FastForward FastPath mode which can also pass hardware link statuses. This NIC can reach wire speed (100Gbps), with Jumbo frames. This card ensures that the CCR network card is not the bottleneck in most server setups.
