BunsenLabs Linux Description
BunsenLabs Linux Lithium, a distribution that offers a lightweight and customizable Openbox desktop, is available from BunsenLabs Linux Lithium. CrunchBang Linux is the community continuation of this project. The current release is derived form Debian 10. The distribution includes Debian 10 configuration and resource packages. There are no changes in the way that the Debian base system operates. Pre-configured Openbox window manger with tint2 panel, conky monitor and jgmenu. This is a feature-rich desktop menu. A collection of conky configurations, wallpapers, and themes that harmonize with GTK2/3. This system can be maintained with various configuration and utility utilities. To provide a better experience, additional desktop-, multimedia-, and hardware-related packages are pre-installed. You can customize the software as much as you like. We offer live-CD and installation media that can be combined for the Debian amd64 architecture (x86-64) and i386 architectures (i686).

Summary: Good and solid distribution. If we have 2 GB of Ram the system will go. If we have more that 2 GB everything is very fast.
Positive: BunsenLabs make OpenBox very easy to use in a day routine on computer. The base of this operating system is Debian and we can get software from Debian repositories. After install we are presented to a script that helps us to install LibreOffice, OpenJdk and Printer support. Nice job and excellent design. I like the Dragon theme.
Negative: 1. The installation is from Debian installer so, we have to read carefully each step on installation, but it just requires more attention, not a handicap;

Summary: I've been using BunsenLabs for years and enjoyed it all the time. I'm using several vintage computers, (10 years old) that were to be retired, they got a new life thanks to BunsenLabs.
Positive: Openbox window manager.
Compact.
Runs well on older hardware.
Easy to install.
Good support (forum).
User friendly.
Low memory usage.
Fast.Negative: Sometimes upgrades from Debian versions take a bit longer.
