Summary: I run both a big surf camp and a small surf house and I've been using Bookinglayer since 2019. It's just the best software. I run everything super easily and smoothly, from packages to rentals and other services. Everything can be visualised clearly and organised with our teams. They also integrated a channel manager to their system. Tutorials will help on every aspect to set it up. On top of that, the team is very friendly and responsive. Definitely recommend them!
Positive: The team/support behind it, the features, the customisation to make it perfectly adapted to your business.
Negative: A Pro that has a Con: As you can customise everything you want, it can take time to set up the whole system and master it, but that's only because in our camp there are so many things included and optional. Probably not a problem for smaller structures.

Summary: The Bookinglayer system was discovered after a lot of research and using a few other systems. Our business is unique as we offer each guest the arrival night for free so it isn't changed. We also have packages and a few other items we need to customize which is great with this system.
The Bookinglayer support is excellent and the online help engine is very complete.Positive: We like that we can customize it to suit our business. The an easy system to use, and it's fast and excellent uptime. The maintenance is great and the communication with us is the best we have experienced. We have been in business since 2008 and this is without a doubt the best booking system we have used.
Negative: To be able to extend a guest's stay after they have paid a deposit. Once the system issues a guest invoice, changing dates, unless the stay length is the same, is an issue for us as we often have guests not being about to get flights and have to extend or shorten their stay. In this case, we have to cancel and rebook the whole stay. It doesn't happen often but it's something that gets a little annoying at times.

Positive: We like most about Bookinglayer is the visibility and the ease of management of our multiple properties listed on booking layer and also the simplicity of working with partners.
Negative: All of the issues we had were solved by the support so all in all, we don't have any remaining issues.

Summary: We are super happy with the platform. The platform has a lot more potential than we are using at the moment, it is a matter of us putting a bit more time into setting up all features more in detail. For computer dummies we are, i think we have been able to do a good job already thanks to Bookinglayer.
Positive: The set up is straightforward and we are able to take online bookings and register payments automatically. This is a huge timesaver for us and also has given our business a more professional appearance as people want simple and easy booking and payment options when booking a holiday.
Negative: As it is a set up to cater to different businesses it does not always give the exact solution that would work best for us. It is not a custom-built platform of course. Having said this the Bookinglayer team is always helpful in offering a solution or tips how to create a workable set up within the platform.

Summary: Great product and receptive, patient support team with a simple and effective solution to tours and bookings.
Positive: I like that the system continues to evolve and, in general, is fairly intuitive. Customers find it straightforward and it improves our efficiency by saving us time!
Negative: Sometimes it takes a little time or effort to create it exactly as you want it to look, and I would prefer it to be more integrated with our website than sit outside of our pages. Otherwise, it is good.

Currently, there is no XML calendar feature to provide live schedule updates to partners without granting them full login access. This creates operational limitations when collaborating with external partners.
Ongoing payment integration issues between Booking Layer and Xendit remain unresolved despite extended communication efforts.
Although the Booking Layer team has been included in email threads, responses are often directed only to us rather than replying directly to Xendit, which make it not possible for further discussion regarding troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues.
