BillingHub operates on a unique invoicing model where charges are linked to individual invoices instead of a monthly billing cycle. Users purchase credits one time, which are only utilized when an invoice is generated; drafts incur no fees, while estimates and quotes remain complimentary across all subscription tiers, and credits do not have an expiration date. The credit packs are non-renewable, with the exception of an optional annual plan that serves as the sole recurring charge available.

Invoices are delivered as PDFs in 156 different currencies, featuring your business logo without any BillingHub branding, and there are no limitations regarding the number of clients, products, or tax rates. Clients receive estimates and quotes via a link that they can accept or reject online, with any accepted quote automatically converted into an invoice. Payment processing is handled through your own Stripe account for added convenience.

Additionally, subscribing to the yearly plan grants access to recurring invoices scheduled at regular intervals along with a REST API that includes idempotency keys and outbound webhooks. There's also a complimentary invoice generator available that allows users to create invoices without needing an account, further enhancing the flexibility and utility of BillingHub's services.
