    Strong task monitoring tool for all needs

    Summary: Basecamp is a solid task management tool. I would like them to make some extra updates, as well as include some attributes to help reduce many of the problems I am having as a project manager. However, in general, the software application is really efficient for our group for marketing organization. Basecamp helps us keep an eye on the progress of the project and we can also have discussions about various tasks to ensure that we are communicating throughout the task, as well as requesting any type of consultation that concerns the work.

    Positive: I think it means that tasks are organized by project, just as you can appoint an employee to be responsible for that work, as well as a deadline for completion. Overall, the system layout helps our group.

    Negative: I don't like you not being able to see what tasks you have actually assigned that affect other people in a simplified view, this would be a truly useful tool from the point of view of a project supervisor.

    Great platform for Project Management

    Summary: Overall, I felt that it was an effective platform, but there were others on my time that felt like the notifications were overwhelming and felt like tasks got lost. I don't think this is the case, provided you use it in the way it is intended.

    Positive: I used this platform at a marketing company, and it made keeping track of tasks and projects pretty easy. I loved the Boosts for team morale. The layout of the platform was very user friendly.

    Negative: I wish recurring tasks could be automatically created...a lot of time wasted putting in the same task for different dates over and over again.

    Good basic project management tool

    Summary: Good basic project management tool with additional communication options within the tool. We ultimately needed additional functionality and moved away from the tool in the end though.

    Positive: * Easy to use/learn interface
    * Ability to tag users
    * Nice admin portal
    * Nice price that isn't based on user count

    Negative: * Confusing to have pings(messages) and chat boards in the tool and couldn't toggle them off. We use different tools for some of those things and it added confusion to our team.
