Azure Data Box Description
Data Box devices allow you to move data to Azure even when busy networks are not an option. Robocopy is a common copy tool that can be used to move large amounts of data into Azure when time, network availability or costs are a concern. All data is AES encrypted, and devices are wiped after uploading, according to NIST Special Publication 80088 revision 1 standards. This ruggedized device, with a 100-TB storage capacity, uses standard NAS protocol and common copy tools. It has AES 256 bit encryption for safer transport.
