Summary: Overall we have had a positive experience with Axero and Communifire, the interface does take time to learn but they help guide through training and provide ongoing support.
Positive: Ease of general use, scalability, and their overall support are definite pros to Axero. They usually resolve issues within minutes of the initial ask.
Negative: Anything beyond basic functionality can be difficult to develop without Axero support.

Good Program for Small Business Date: Dec 09 2021
Summary: Overall, our partnership with Axero has been a great addition to our team. We use their platform for all company announcements, document sharing and connecting our national sales team together in one virtual location. Some additional capabilities would make our processes easier and save some additional steps, but so far we have had a good experience.
Positive: Program comes generally ready to use with different widgets to customize each space - Allows for integration with Microsoft platform for connection to One Drive - Easy to navigate platform which offers easy permission setup.
Negative: Sharing documents via email is not possible - Must download before adding as attachment - Would like to see more widgets available to work from. Has many available, but some are too generic for our use.

Summary: Overall, we are very happy with the product and have had great adoption and feedback from our users. Only a few limitations on customization and integrations, but we have still been able to accomplish most of what we were looking for - increased adoption & analytics, optimized search, organized layout and easy navigation, and trust security via Okta.
Positive: Positive feedback from users, organized and easy to navigate, responsive customer support, many different features to incorporate, and sleek designs.
Negative: Setup can be a bit technical, some limitations on customization.

This is the platform if you need a flexible and customizable experience! Date: Dec 07 2021
Summary: Solid platform, easy to use. Customizations plenty! Endless number of spaces and sub spaces so you can build it out for many, many options and usage points. The best feature is the support team. They are so helpful. If you can't find the answer in the 100's of resources (videos, articles, prior member posts) they will answer relatively fast.
Positive: Our organization has needed to use the Communifire platform for projects, rather than departments, and with a multitude of customizations that has essentially redesigned much of the system - and it still works! But we couldn't have done it without the support team. They are so helpful and always eager to help. Plus, there are 100's of videos, articles, anything to help find the answers we need.
Negative: There are few things we dislike, not enough to lose a star. The general, non-customized app is limiting. For example, the Calendar feature is not usable in that format, but we can't afford to pay for a fully custom app to coordinate with our site. The other thing is the pro (customization) can also become tedious, as every conversation and discussion and file folder needs to be revisited when created new - but once it becomes habit it's not so bad :).

Best Intranet & Collaboration Solution Date: Jul 25 2021
Summary: Outstanding solution. We searched two years for a robust solution to meet our internal communication and collaboration needs and found what we believe is the best solution in the market. The solution is easy of use, has great features & functionality, is highly customizable, and an on-premise option is available for organizations that would prefer this type of deployment. In a very short time we have started to experience the benefits of deploying the solution from Axero.
Positive: The solution from Axero is highly customizable. We are now live and I can say there was nothing that we were not able to accomplish in terms of design and customizing the look of our site. This solution is well-thought out and very agile. The implementation team and ongoing support have been amazing in terms of their desire to meet our needs. Response time and deployment of new features is second to none.
Negative: The only feature missing from this solution is a customizable online form and routing feature.

Summary: Overall, I feel like our users and admins have a positive experience with Axero. Not only do we feel that our employees enjoy visiting the site for updates, communications and references; but also, they feel united and supported by their team as a whole. I know beforehand when we had a task management system, it was seen as very boring and checking the box. I feel like Axero has been great for our people and for our team as there is a lot of user engagement + great functions we use daily!
Positive: I love how customizable the website is. You can truly make it one of a kind. I know our stores also find value in the discussion boards and it brings our team closer together by having home office and field employees connect over issues and celebrations. The ability to also share videos, podcasts and different forms of media has been a dream too! This brings things to life way more than just words.
Negative: The downfall of Axero is the ability to have detailed analytics. We would love to have an easy way for our field leaders to access reports on tasks that their stores have and have not completed. We have over 2000 users so going to each page and identifying who has completed a reading from your region is an unrealistic request. An enhancement to beef up analytics for completion, time spent on pages, and more would help us understand what items are really helpful and which are just checking the boxes.

Attentive Client Support and Growing Selection of Customization Features Date: Oct 20 2022
Summary: Overall, I am pleased with my experience using Axero Communifire, and I hope that as my company's needs for this product continue to grow and develop, the features of Axero and its quality customer service continue to grow and develop as well.
Positive: I love that the Axero support team is quick to respond to private cases that I create with questions or requests my team has. They have a very active support team that is diligent about finding answers and coaching my team through issues we may encounter. I like that Axero provides a rather robust user experience for site administrators and has extreme customization available for user permissions within Communifire.
Negative: I wish there were more user-selectable customization features for site administrators to change how information is displayed within widgets in Communifire. However, there is still a large existing selection of these features, and it seems that the Axero team is regularly adding to the available options.

Rain for Rent Internal Communications Center Date: Oct 20 2022
Summary: Numerous stakeholders across all the departments of our company are able to utilize the tool to add content, find content, and manage information well.
Positive: So many features, a bit daunting at first but you get the feel for it. It's well organized and the interface is mostly intuitive.
Negative: Some of the best things still require god HTML skills, not sure that's a con, but an additional skill needed to take full advantage of the tool.

Positive: * Very customizable -- can use CSS overrides (if you have a software developer/coder on staff)
* Amazingly responsive support site

Summary: Very positive experience, would recommend!
Positive: I am a project assistant for AiArthritis, a nonprofit. The software is super customizable which has been awesome for our organization! Customer Support is fantastic! They are very timely, knowledgable, and answer questions or assist us with customization graciously.
Negative: One drawback, as it is so customizable sometimes we experience errors after a site-wide update. Fortunately, since we know this and customer support is on top of things we are able to mediate things relatively quickly.

Summary: I assume that running a business like Axero is quite challenging because no matter how high the quality of the product is, a user will attribute value based on their experience, which will vary greatly depending on familiarity with managing/editing an intranet platforms.
In my case, content editing skills only got me so far and I would have been at a loss were it not for their support team and instructional tools. I was not an original member of my company’s transition team for this project, so I missed some prelim training but later found that most of it was available in various forms through the support site.
Bumps were encountered along the way with set up, site maintenance, and user errors, and with each occurrence I felt supported in my action of reaching out to the Axero team for help.
Based on the level of support received and responsiveness of Client Success Managers, I would recommend Axero.Positive: Support team is quick to respond and can bring on team members with various areas of expertise to help quickly resolve problems or provide answers, etc.
Client Success Managers seem sincerely invested in helping customers find solutions.
The Axero Support site has a great vault of questions/answers/how-to videos & instructions, and it’s easy to post a question, report a bug, or suggest a new feature.
The training Axero provided is what enabled me to become a successful site manager, I did not receive platform management training from my company.Negative: A few times we’ve experienced a glitch that caused content to be lost/missing from the platform, and we weren’t able to determine if it was a user error or a platform glitch.

When it comes to page building, there is no ‘undo’ button for certain editing tasks which at times users have mentioned – would have been nice.
Some training/tutorial videos/materials are insufficient and there could be some improvement on communicating the gotchas/things to watch out for such as data loss when merging and renaming directory fields.
Without editing code there isn’t an easy way to alter dimensions of white space within layout and widgets.Axero Company Response
