Aspen PIMS™, the most trusted planning solution, is used at over 400 refineries and other olefins plants around the world to optimize operations. Applications include crude evaluation, product mixing, economic evaluations in trading, and plant design. Planners and traders can quickly identify the potential profit from a new crude relative the existing crude basket. Aspen Assay Management provides a library of over 700 crudes to help you make economic comparisons between the reference case crude basket and the new crude. Included with PIMS™. The Molecular Characterization of Crude Oils allows planners to more accurately characterize crude oil for improved property prediction and better crude purchase decisions. Aspen PIMS includes assay management capabilities. Planners can now make changes to assays from within the planning tool. This allows for automatic updates to the PIMS table. The new visualization makes it easier to spot the right crude.
