In California, it is mandated that employers with a workforce of five or more individuals provide sexual harassment prevention training to all employees biennially. Supervisors and nonsupervisory personnel were required to complete this training by January 1, 2021. Additionally, training should occur within six months of an employee's hiring or promotion and subsequently every two years. Therefore, if staff members underwent training in 2019, they will need to participate in retraining by 2021. This ongoing education is crucial for maintaining a safe and respectful workplace environment.
