Accounting Seed Reviews

Summary: There are hiccups at times (Accounting Seed regularly forgets that we are on their OEM model, and don't have a licensing relationship with SalesForce!), but overall, Accounting Seed consistently outperforms our expectations and enables to do a massive amount of transactional work with a handful of staff. For that middle spot where Quickbooks is too little and Oracle is too much, there aren't a lot of affordable options - and Accounting Seed easily leads the pack in that market space, in my opinion.

Positive: I appreciate the ease of navigation, customizability, and parallel / consistent structure of the interface. Cloning of records is great. Reports are easy. Having the system built on the SalesForce framework also means that in the unusual case where Support is taking a bit of time to respond, often I can find my own answers just by googling, since SalesForce is such a ubiquitous platform.

Negative: It would be awesome to be able to convert a billing or payable into a recurring billing template or recurring payable template, shortcutting the need to manually build something you already have in order to take it from a one-off to a recurring template. Also, the ability to close ledgers individually, rather than only to close the whole period or close by module (AP, AR, etc.), would be hugely beneficial to customers like us who have multiple companies/ledgers.

Summary: Issue was resolved within an hour of submitting.

Positive: The system was very easy to use and had an immediate response from the support team.

Negative: Did not have any cons as the process worked better than expected.

Summary: I have had great support from the Accounting Seed Team and recommend the product to anyone who truly cares about their accounting operations

Positive: I am able to contact support and get a reply fast. They are great at helping me navigate my issues.

Negative: Sometimes, an issue would need to go into the product roadmap, but that's okay - it's good to see progress

Summary: Great positive experience. I have many many questions about Accounting Seed functions, and I hope they will be answered just as easily.

Positive: Dean was great! he was very patient with me. He knew what I was doing wrong right away and explained it to me so I completely understood how to avoid the issue in the future.

Negative: It is a little difficult to find the place in Accounting Seed to enter a case or respond to a case.

Summary: I had a good experience with customer support. The ability to schedule one on one calls with the support team is a great help.

Positive: Accounting Seed support was highly responsive, providing quick replies and promptly assisting in finding a resolution to my issue. Additionally, having the option to schedule a call directly with a support specialist was greatly appreciated and made the support experience efficient and effective.

Negative: An update on the accounting seed platform caused our system to fail.

Negative: Lack of details on where/who notifications are sent from.

Summary: Great experience in terms of process automation and reporting.

Positive: Flexible on process automation using Salesforce automation tools. Powerful reporting and dashboard features.

Negative: UI is little different than other accounting software.

Summary: I was helped very quickly and with exact detail of what needed to be done. I received what I needed.

Positive: The rapid response and helpful information I received to easily solve my issue. I was able to fix the problem.

Negative: There was nothing I did not like about the situation.

Summary: Customer service was very helpful and fast with the solution and putting in contact with us.

Positive: It was faster than I expected to be, the team supporting me it was helpful and friendly.

Negative: The error was due to a new release, from which we didn't now it was going to happened.

Summary: In the end I was able to configure the report how the customer needed it to be configured. I am very happy.

Positive: The support agent was very thorough on their steps, I had a complex report that I was dealing with.

Negative: The report structure itself is a little complicated.

Summary: Organizations can streamline accounting processes with its customizable features, insightful reporting, and seamless integration.

Positive: Accounting Seed has a native integration with Salesforce, allowing you to manage accounting and CRM in a single place, streamlining workflow.

Negative: Due to its extensive customization and integration capabilities, new users may initially face a learning curve in order to become familiar with the platform and utilize its full potential.

Summary: Pleased with their systems and processes. They are also frequently making updates to help improve things or provide more solutions which is nice.

Positive: We use accounting seed to help manage our accounting for our business and streamline reporting for our teams. It is user friendly and helpful.

Negative: As with any system, it took time to learn the processes but their team is helpful and always available - great support!

Summary: Accounting Seed University is of extreme help, and I highly recommend it. The overall experience was alright. Elle was pretty quick at replying to our emails. Wish there was a faster and better communication between Accounting Seed and customers.

Positive: The fact that the team worked together to help Makina Benefits transition from Quick Books to Accounting Seed. Onyinye was very helpful. She stayed with us on the phone for over an hour and helped us answer to multiple questions we had in regards to Accounting Seed. Thank you again, Ony for all your time and help.

Negative: The process is extremely slow, we were moved from one department to the other, and our problem is still not fixed. Wish Accounting Seed was more direct with their help instead of moving us from one department to the other.

We learned Accounting Seed from Accounting Seed University, but that is not enough when it comes to actually running all your activities on Accounting Seed. We definitely needed support in making sure we are setting up a strong foundation in the beginning, and that's where we wish Accounting Seed would have helped us more. After about a month, it seems like we are making progress and that Accounting Seed is finally connecting us with different groups that can help us transition.

Summary: Overall: it has been easy to manage cash inflows and outflows in real time with Accounting Seed, thus my experience is remarkably great.

Positive: I like that Accounting Seed is allocated at a fair cost estimation billed monthly.
It has been way to automate both account receivables and payables.

Negative: I barely encounter issues while managing cash flow with Accounting Seed and I use it on a daily basis.

Summary: My overall experience with Accounting Seed is awesome and it is easy and perfect to automate accounting and invoicing.

Positive: Accounting Seed has enhanced cash flow management in our organization.
I like that i have been able to reduce time takes on AP and AR Automation

Negative: I currently got no issues attached to Accounting Seed.
