You can click Write to immediately start taking notes if you have a Dropbox account. Markdown Journal will ask you to connect with your Dropbox account if you haven’t logged in for a while. Mou is heavily influenced in MacDown. I try to imitate as much of it as possible both in UI design and logic, only making any changes when I feel they are necessary. Highlights include highly customizable Markdown rendering, syntax highlight in fenced code blocks, and sophisticated auto-completion. MacDown will accept pull requests for aliases to existing languages but not new syntax-highlighting rules. You can submit additional language definitions or themes to Prism's project page.
