TwinPhone is browser-based international calling: a WebRTC softphone that terminates on the PSTN, so you dial real E.164 numbers and the person you are calling answers on an ordinary phone. Nothing has to be installed on their side — no app, no account, no invitation. On your side it runs in Chrome, Edge and Brave, or as a native iPhone app.
How it works: sign up for free, top up a balance with a card, and dial. The exact rate for the number you dialled is shown before the call connects, so there is no guessing between a landline range and a mobile range inside the same country. Rates start at $0.02/min across 145+ destinations.
Pricing is prepaid and per-call. No subscription, no contract, no monthly minimum, no connection fees, no per-seat licence — an account that sits idle costs nothing.
Every call lands in a call log with destination, duration and cost, exportable as CSV. Contacts are stored for quick dialling, and balance, history and account settings live in one dashboard.
Virtual second numbers start at $3.19/mo for US and Canada. Inbound calls and SMS are delivered straight to the browser, which makes them useful for keeping a personal number out of marketplace listings, sign-up forms and verification flows.
On the transport side, media is encrypted with TLS and SRTP, and adaptive audio holds calls together on congested hotel, cafe and airport Wi-Fi instead of dropping them.
For teams, a single shared prepaid wallet covers everyone, with owner and member roles controlling who can invite teammates and who can spend, plus per-member call logs for internal billing.
