Description

edgeContinuum serves as a cloud management platform that enhances OpenStack infrastructure by incorporating self-service capabilities. Utilizing a web interface, API, and Terraform, it enables administrators to provide internal teams or customer tenants with managed Kubernetes clusters, PostgreSQL databases, virtual machines, and application templates. The platform features multi-tenancy controls, such as organizations, projects, roles, quotas, and usage tracking to ensure organized management. It categorizes data centers and edge locations into regions and availability zones, while automating the provisioning and lifecycle operations for both Kubernetes and PostgreSQL. Cloud and managed service providers can leverage it to offer customized infrastructure services, whereas enterprises can facilitate on-demand access for developers while maintaining IT governance. Additionally, the control plane can be deployed in hosted or on-premises configurations, even in air-gapped settings, allowing workloads to operate on the provider's own infrastructure. This flexibility makes it an appealing choice for diverse operational needs.

Description

ip·Solis is a self-hosted IT asset lifecycle and self-service automation platform that runs entirely on your own infrastructure — Docker Compose, on-prem or air-gapped, with no telemetry and no vendor cloud. End users request VDIs, shared desktops, applications, licenses or any catalog item through a self-service portal; once approved, chained PowerShell 7 runbooks execute the real provisioning against Active Directory, SCCM, XenServer/XCP-ng and VMware vSphere. Identity uses generic OpenID Connect — Entra ID, Okta, Ping, Google, Keycloak or any compliant IdP — alongside on-prem AD/LDAP. Approvals support manager sign-off, multi-approver quorums, conditional rules, data-classification routing (PII/PHI/PCI) and out-of-office delegation. Governance is built in: access certification campaigns (ISO 27001/SOX/PCI), an append-only audit log, SIEM streaming to Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel, SCIM 2.0 plus HR-webhook leaver automation (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, MS Graph), and external secret management (HashiCorp Vault, CyberArk, Azure Key Vault, AWS Secrets Manager). A REST API with Swagger, five-tier RBAC and scoped API tokens make it automation-friendly. Source-available: free for private use and 30-day evaluation; any organizational use — including public-sector and non-profit — requires a commercial license.
