Vision by SoftSmile is advanced orthodontic lab and clinic software built to make aligner treatment planning faster, more precise, and easier to scale. The platform brings together AI-powered setup, treatment planning, staging, collision detection, attachments, elastics, articulator tools, additional teeth support, review workflows, and production-ready 3D model preparation. Vision helps teams move from scan to production through a structured workflow that includes preprocessing, setup, clinical review, and postprocessing. During preprocessing, the software automatically segments teeth, cleans scan data, removes artifacts, and aligns the model to create a reliable foundation for treatment planning. Its AI setup tools position teeth into an ideal arch while giving users control over movement customization, staging decisions, attachments, elastics, and treatment optimization. During review, labs and clinicians can evaluate treatment plans, exchange feedback, and make changes through connected collaboration tools. In postprocessing, Vision prepares models for printing with hollow, ribbed, or solid configurations, automated cutting lines, fillers, blockouts, export presets, and quality checks. The platform is designed to reduce manual CAD work, accelerate approvals, improve case clarity, and support higher case volumes without overloading teams. Description

WindowsLDP, short for Load Distribution Program, serves as a quasi-static tool for the design and analysis of both external and internal spur and helical gear pairs. This software has been widely adopted by many consortium members as their primary resource for gear design and analysis. There are also modified versions of this program that facilitate surface wear and duty cycle evaluations. Utilizing computationally efficient and precise semi-analytical methods, WindowsLDP calculates the load distribution across multiple engaging teeth of gears. Based on this load distribution data, it assesses the loaded transmission error, along with root and contact stress distributions, mesh stiffness functions, and tooth forces, while also providing insights into other relevant design parameters such as lubricant film thickness and surface temperature. Users can select either SI or English units for their analyses, enhancing flexibility in application. Additionally, WindowsLDP supports multi-torque analyses and evaluations of manufacturing robustness, making it a comprehensive tool for gear design. The program's versatility allows engineers to tailor their analyses to specific project requirements effectively.
