It manages operating system updates across Windows, macOS, and Linux, along with third-party application updates. A lightweight agent reports software inventory, OS update history, package manager state, listening ports, firewall status, and compliance data. IT teams roll out updates in controlled phases using deployment rings, approval workflows, applicability filtering, supersedence tracking, and pre-staging.
