Description
Surfsky is a cloud browser and web automation platform designed to help developers run large-scale scraping operations and automated browser workflows on websites with advanced bot protection. The software provides managed Chromium browser instances equipped with realistic device fingerprints, residential proxies, automated CAPTCHA solving, and human-like interaction simulation. Its fingerprinting technology uses profiles based on more than 2.5 million devices, incorporating characteristics such as Canvas, WebGL, audio, fonts, GPU information, and screen properties. Surfsky provides access to a residential and mobile proxy network with more than 100 million IP addresses for geographically distributed browsing operations. Developers can run hundreds of isolated browser sessions simultaneously, with support for configurations exceeding 1,000 concurrent sessions. The platform integrates with Playwright, Puppeteer, Selenium, and chromedp through standard browser automation connections, reducing the need to rewrite existing scripts. Persistent browser profiles retain cookies, local storage, and session information across separate executions to support workflows requiring repeated authentication. Surfsky also offers an Agent Browser solution that enables AI agents to navigate websites, extract data, complete forms, and execute multistep browser tasks. Common applications include web scraping, price monitoring, ecommerce automation, market research, job application workflows, social media management, and data collection for machine learning systems.
Description
WebKit is an efficient, open-source web browser engine that powers Safari, Mail, the App Store, and various other applications across macOS, iOS, and Linux platforms. Acting as the core for rendering web content and executing JavaScript within these applications, it enables a seamless user experience. Developers are encouraged to engage with the project by reporting issues or contributing code enhancements. Meanwhile, web developers can keep up with WebKit's progress, monitor the status of features, and download Safari Technology Preview to test the newest web technologies. The project prioritizes real-world compatibility, adherence to standards, stability, performance, battery efficiency, security, privacy, portability, user-friendliness, and ease of code modification. WebKit is licensed as an open-source project under the BSD 2-Clause license, although the WebCore and JavaScriptCore components are governed by the GNU Lesser General Public License. This collaborative approach helps foster innovation and improvement within the web development community.
