Description
SolidCraft is a versatile open-source parametric 3D CAD software designed for the creation and modification of parts and assemblies. It enables users to produce dimensioned and constrained sketches while incorporating features like extrusions, revolutions, fillets, shells, holes, and patterns, all of which can be modified via a feature timeline that includes parameters and configurations. The application also supports component assemblies, various types of joints, motion simulations, workflows for sheet metal, and tools specifically for plastic parts. Users benefit from both desktop and web-based editors, command-line utilities, and a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, which facilitate interactive, scripted, and agent-assisted design processes. SolidCraft is capable of importing and exporting a range of formats, such as STEP, IGES, STL, OBJ, and 3MF, though each format has its own constraints; additionally, assemblies can be exported in URDF format. This software is particularly valuable for anyone involved in the design, inspection, modification, or sharing of mechanical components and assemblies. Its user-friendly interface and robust features make it an ideal choice for professionals in various engineering fields.
Description
WordCraft is an accessible and open-source word processing tool designed for those who create and format various types of documents. Featuring a ribbon interface, it offers a range of editing and design functionalities that include styles, tables, images, citations, footnotes, tables of contents, comments, tracked changes, as well as spelling and grammar checks, and mail merge capabilities.
