Description

Apple Intelligence and Siri AI are Apple’s next-generation AI features built to make everyday tasks more personalized, intuitive, and private. Siri AI expands Apple’s voice assistant into a conversational AI assistant that can answer questions, understand user context, and take action across supported apps. Users can ask Siri to find photos, locate emails, create reminders, edit messages, add songs to playlists, and provide detailed answers using broader world knowledge. Visual Intelligence allows users to search, identify, and act on objects, text, images, and screen content using the camera, screenshots, Apple Pencil, or Apple Vision Pro. Apple Intelligence also supports advanced photo editing tools such as Clean Up, Extend, Spatial Reframing, Image Playground, and Image Wand. Communication features include Write with Siri, proofreading, call context, Live Translation, and smart suggestions in Messages and Mail. Productivity tools help users organize Safari tabs, monitor web pages, update weak passwords, create shortcuts from descriptions, and add calendar events naturally. Apple’s privacy-first design uses on-device intelligence whenever possible and Private Cloud Compute for more complex tasks without storing user data. With deep integration across Apple hardware and software, Apple Intelligence helps users create, communicate, organize, and automate more efficiently.

Description

macOS High Sierra marks the fourteenth iteration of Apple's operating system designed for its Macintosh computers, including desktops, laptops, and servers. This version is the second release following the transition from OS X to the macOS branding. For utilizing Siri, users must have a broadband Internet connection, as well as a microphone, which can be either built-in or external. Additionally, to use Photo Booth, a FaceTime or iSight camera is necessary, whether it's integrated into the device or connected via USB video class (UVC). Similarly, making FaceTime video calls demands a built-in FaceTime camera or an external iSight camera, along with a USB video class (UVC) camera, and a reliable broadband Internet connection is essential for all these functionalities. Overall, these requirements ensure that users can effectively engage with the multimedia capabilities of High Sierra.
