Description
Pixacare serves as a comprehensive platform for wound care management tailored for healthcare professionals, merging organized clinical documentation with advanced AI-driven wound assessment. Its AI component, WoundTrack II, which is certified as a Class IIa medical device, efficiently calculates wound surface area and analyzes tissue composition using a calibrated photograph. Meanwhile, the primary Pixacare Application functions as a Class I medical device and facilitates the tracking of multiple wounds, remote patient follow-up through electronic patient-reported outcomes (ePRO), secure messaging among care teams, and the generation of automated PDF reports detailing healing progress. The platform seamlessly connects with hospital information systems through HL7, FHIR R4, and REST APIs, ensuring robust security with single sign-on and two-factor authentication features. Currently, it is implemented in over 70 healthcare facilities across six different countries, assisting in the management of chronic wounds, supporting post-operative recovery, and enhancing dermatological follow-up. Furthermore, Pixacare is accessible in several languages, including French, English, German, and Spanish, making it an adaptable solution for diverse healthcare environments.
