Description
The mining efficiency for Ethereum can be improved by 3-5% due to a significantly different miner code that reduces the number of invalid and outdated shares, operates at higher GPU loads, and includes optimized OpenCL code along with assembler kernels. This mining software is compatible with both AMD and nVidia graphics cards, even when used in mixed rig setups. It functions seamlessly on both Windows x64 and Linux x64 operating systems. A built-in watchdog timer monitors the GPUs regularly, restarting the miner if any GPU becomes unresponsive. Additionally, it supports memory straps for both AMD and NVIDIA cards, which can be activated using the -straps command-line parameter. To get started, simply double-click your Bat file, which will initiate the miner, execute the setx commands to configure the necessary environment variables, initialize each GPU, create the DAG file for each unit, and commence hashing. After allowing the process to run for around 20 seconds, you can press “s” to check your current hashing speed. With the miner now operational, you can relax and observe as your graphics cards generate passive income in Ethereum on a daily basis, turning your investment into a revenue-generating venture. Make sure to regularly monitor performance and adjust settings when necessary for optimal results.
Description
SimpleMining OS (SMOS) offers a user-friendly Plug&Play Linux platform specifically designed for cryptocurrency GPU mining. This mining operating system is compatible with all contemporary NVIDIA and AMD graphics cards, supporting not only Ethash (Ethereum) but also numerous other algorithms. The process of deploying, monitoring, and maintaining your GPU rig farm has never been more straightforward! Say goodbye to the hassle of configuring Windows or other operating systems, installing graphics drivers, and searching for mining software. Simply download the OS image, flash it onto an empty drive of at least 7 GB—whether it's a pendrive, HDD, or SSD—and boot up your device. From there, you can add your rigs to your account and effortlessly manage them through a cloud-based GUI dashboard. If you encounter any questions, feel free to reach out on our Discord channel. You can view all your rigs on a single page, allowing for a comprehensive overview of hardware details, hash rates, console output, and statistics. Additionally, you can assign rigs to specific configuration or overclocking groups, execute batch commands, and utilize advanced commands for live reflashing or driver updates. Overclocking and undervolting for your GPUs can be easily set, or you can create groups with identical settings to streamline your operations. Ultimately, SMOS simplifies the entire mining experience, making it accessible to both beginners and seasoned miners alike.
