Description

PageVeil serves as a browser extension designed to conceal sensitive information on live web pages prior to screen sharing, product demonstrations, customer interactions, recordings, and screenshot captures. Users can choose to blur or obscure specific elements, draw a designated protected area, or cover highlighted text, and can also save these configurations to be reapplied via URL, page path, or domain after refreshing or during in-app navigation. This tool can replace actual names, personal contact information, numerical values, IDs, and other sensitive data with safe demo alternatives, while the Pro version offers features like unlimited saved configurations, a one-click Demo Mode, the ability to scan for over 40 categories of sensitive information, and the capability to mask both browser-tab titles and favicons. PageVeil is particularly useful for sales teams, solution providers, product marketers, customer support representatives, consultants, entrepreneurs, trainers, and educators who need to showcase real web applications. The basic page protection functionality operates directly within the browser, and the extension is compatible with Chrome, Edge, and Firefox. With its focus on enhancing privacy during presentations, PageVeil is an essential tool for anyone who needs to share screens without exposing confidential information.

Description

The WAVE extension for Chrome and Firefox enables users to assess web content for accessibility concerns directly within their browsers. Since this tool operates solely within the browser environment, it ensures that no data is transmitted to the WAVE server, maintaining complete privacy and security during accessibility assessments. This functionality allows for the evaluation of various types of web pages, including intranet sites, those requiring passwords, and even dynamically generated or sensitive content. Additionally, by analyzing the rendered version of the webpage, the WAVE extension can review locally applied styles and content generated through scripts or AJAX. Users will receive automatic updates for the WAVE extension as they become available, ensuring that they always have the latest features. To initiate a WAVE report, simply click the WAVE icon located to the right of the browser's address bar, and you can easily close the interface by clicking the icon again or refreshing the page. This seamless integration enhances the user experience while promoting accessibility awareness across all web content.
