Description

Motive, in conjunction with OptiTrack cameras, offers the leading solution for real-time tracking of humans and objects currently available on the market. The system has significantly enhanced the accuracy of skeletal tracking, ensuring reliable bone tracking even when markers are heavily occluded. In the context of human motion tracking, the term "solver" refers to the algorithmic approach used to estimate the pose (6 DoF) of each bone based on the markers detected in every frame. The precision solver developed for Motive 3.0 effectively captures the movement of the tracked subjects' skeletons, resulting in more dependable and intricate performance capture for character animation. Furthermore, a robust solver can accurately label markers and maintain skeletal tracking even when many markers are obscured or lost, leading to higher-quality tracking data and reducing the amount of editing needed across various applications. By processing the data from OptiTrack cameras, Motive provides comprehensive global 3D positions, marker identifiers, and rotational information, thereby enhancing the overall tracking experience for users. Posed People are digitally scanned 3D representations of individuals, each captured in a distinct natural stance using advanced scanning technology. Their geometry and high-resolution textures have undergone meticulous refinement to ensure they reflect the liveliness and realism of actual human figures. These Posed 3D models come with pre-configured materials, ready for immediate rendering. Furthermore, the complimentary models uphold the same quality standards and capabilities as the Posed 3D People available in our online store. In contrast, Rigged People are dynamic and adjustable 3D scans, each featuring an integrated skeleton that is already connected to the model's geometry (referred to as skinning). This allows for easy posing and animation, making our 3D Rigged People highly adaptable for various applications. Additionally, motion capture data can be utilized to quickly generate lifelike movements, enhancing their utility. The free models offered also maintain a similar quality and functionality as the Rigged People found in our online shop, ensuring users have access to exceptional assets without any cost. This blend of versatility and quality makes these models ideal for a wide range of creative projects.
