OptiTrack Motive Description
Motive + OptiTrack cameras provide the highest-performing real-time object and human tracking available today. Improved skeletal tracking precision. Robust and accurate bone tracking even in the presence of heavy markers. In human motion tracking terms, "Solver" refers to the programmatic process for estimating the pose (6 DoF), of each bone using the actual measured markers at each frame. A precision solver like the one developed for Motive 3.0 accurately determines the skeleton movement and performance of the tracked subject(s). This yields higher confidence as well as more nuanced character animation capture. A robust solver can also perform precise marker labeling and track skeletal movement even if many markers are lost or hidden from cameras. This will provide more reliable tracking data and greatly reduced editing time across all applications. OptiTrack camera data can be used to generate global 3D positions, marker IDs and rotational data.
