Description
OpenBlue Employee is a workplace experience and scheduling platform from FM, which is part of Johnson Controls. Formerly known as FMS, the cloud-based software helps organizations coordinate employees, workspaces, meeting rooms, visitors, workplace services, and shared resources. Desk booking and hoteling capabilities allow employees to reserve workspaces through desktop or mobile interfaces and support recurring reservations, check-in, checkout, and automatic release of unused spaces. Interactive floor plans provide a visual way to locate available desks, rooms, coworkers, teams, and nearby workplace resources. Room and resource scheduling supports conference rooms, equipment, catering, IT services, recurring meetings, and multi-resource reservations. Visitor management capabilities include automated bookings, confirmations, self-service kiosks, badge printing, host notifications, parking access, and safety induction workflows. OpenBlue Employee integrates with systems such as Microsoft Outlook, WebEx, and Cisco TMS and can connect with IoT sensors and workplace booking hardware. Reporting and analytics combine booking, occupancy, environmental, space, maintenance, financial, and other workplace data to help organizations understand how facilities are being used. OpenBlue Employee is intended for corporate real estate, facilities, workplace experience, and operations teams that need to support hybrid work while improving space utilization and employee access to workplace resources.
