Description
Odin POS provides a comprehensive suite for managing incidental spending, complete with robust inventory management capabilities. We have successfully assisted numerous educational institutions in developing a university-style one-card system that allows students to make purchases using their student IDs. The Odin platform is designed to work seamlessly with various authentication methods, including barcode scanners, PINs, and RFID cards, ensuring flexibility in how students are verified. For institutions that do not currently issue cards, our ID design system simplifies the creation of personalized ID cards that integrate effortlessly with the Odin suite. This means students can leave their cash at home, as all transactions can be handled through their IDs. Our parent portal enables families to deposit money, monitor their child's account balance, and access a real-time summary of transactions made by the student. Additionally, the MyKidsSpending app empowers students to make purchases directly from their phones or generate a scan-friendly QR-like barcode that links to their student accounts, with the added benefit of a self-refreshing security feature for the barcode. This innovative approach enhances the overall security and convenience of on-campus spending for students.
Description
Trinity POS serves as a comprehensive school nutrition software solution designed for K-12 districts, charter organizations, and operators involved in child nutrition programs such as NSLP, School Breakfast, SFSP, CACFP, and CEP.
The point of sale system functions as a cashier application accessible on tablets, smartphones, or web browsers, equipped with features for serving lines, offline functionality for areas with unreliable Wi-Fi, protection against duplicate servings, and privacy for eligibility, ensuring cashiers do not have knowledge of whether students qualify for free, reduced, or paid meals (as specified in 7 CFR 245.8).
For determining eligibility, Trinity POS offers both online and paper applications for free/reduced meals in multiple languages including English, Spanish, and Vietnamese, along with income verification, Direct Certification imports, notification letters, and sampling for verification purposes.
The parent portal allows families to conveniently add funds online, establish automatic top-ups and spending thresholds, and check account balances and menus, with all deposits directly settling into each school's designated bank account.
In terms of claims, the software provides reimbursement claim worksheets that are generated based on recorded meal servings, featuring editing checks, export options, and a history of submissions; however, it is important to note that Trinity does not submit these claims to the state on behalf of the user.
This streamlined approach enhances the efficiency of school meal programs while ensuring compliance and user-friendly access for families.
