SoftDicom — A Portable DICOM Viewer and PACS Solution. This versatile DICOM viewer and PACS operates directly from your SSD, eliminating the need for installation, Java, or root access. SoftDicom allows users to effortlessly access their medical imaging studies by simply connecting the SSD to any Windows, macOS, or Ubuntu system, providing immediate access to their files. Without the requirement for installation processes, Java runtimes, or administrative permissions, it proves to be the perfect choice for users on borrowed or restricted computers where software installation is not feasible. The software is fully compliant with DICOM Parts 3, 4, 6, 10, and 14, and it supports various compression formats including JPEG 2000, JPEG Lossless, RLE, and JPEG Baseline. Additionally, it is compatible with multiple imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, X-Ray, Ultrasound, Mammography, PET/CT, SPECT, and Cath-Lab studies, ensuring comprehensive functionality.
