Description

MacDuty offers dedicated Mac mini servers from its facilities in Romania, located within the European Union. Each server is entirely dedicated to a single customer, ensuring that there are no virtual machines or shared hardware involved. Their server lineup spans every generation of Apple silicon, from the M1 to the anticipated 2026 M6 and M5 Pro, featuring a total of 84 different configurations. Upon arrival, each machine comes with a fresh macOS installation that can be accessed via SSH or screen sharing within minutes, and they include both public IPv4 and IPv6 addresses. Customers can choose from daily, monthly, or yearly billing options, with no additional setup fees or long-term commitments required beyond the 24-hour minimum mandated by Apple. Opting for an annual payment can result in a 20% discount, and users benefit from unlimited power consumption along with 10 TB of included traffic. Through the client portal, users have the ability to reboot their machines, reset passwords, manage SSH keys, and perform macOS reinstallations independently, providing a high degree of flexibility. There are no restrictions on using personal Apple accounts or maintaining private backups, and any hardware failures are addressed promptly, with same-day replacements. Common applications for these servers include continuous integration runners for Xcode and GitHub Actions, persistent development environments compatible with Windows or Linux, and support for local language models and AI agents. This versatility makes MacDuty an appealing choice for developers and businesses alike.

Description

Sengi functions as a managed runner service for GitHub Actions, executing Linux CI tasks on newly provisioned Ubuntu 24.04 x64 virtual machines. Teams can easily link their GitHub repositories and direct applicable workflow jobs to Sengi by adjusting the runner label, all while maintaining their existing Actions workflows, steps, secrets, logs, and triggers intact. The service provides various machine configurations including 2-vCPU/8-GB, 4-vCPU/16-GB, and 8-vCPU/32-GB options for diverse operations like builds, tests, Docker workflows, and handling multiple jobs in parallel. Each user account is granted a monthly quota of 3,000 standard-2-equivalent minutes that can be utilized across different runner sizes, and no payment card is necessary to initiate usage. Job execution charges are applied per minute based on the selected machine size, with boot and teardown times exempt from billing. Sengi aims to serve developers and DevOps teams seeking a hassle-free managed Linux execution solution for GitHub Actions, eliminating the need to maintain their own runner fleet. Currently, the service exclusively supports Ubuntu 24.04 on x64 architecture, ensuring a standardized environment for all users. This makes Sengi an appealing option for teams looking to streamline their CI/CD processes efficiently.
