Description

eConsult provides NHS GP practices with the capability to conduct online consultations, enabling patients to electronically communicate their symptoms or requests to their local GP. This platform offers continuous access to NHS self-help resources, guidance on available services, and a symptom assessment tool. Recognized as the most utilized digital triage solution in NHS primary care, eConsult was developed by NHS GPs specifically for patients in the NHS, aiming to improve patient access and practice efficiency while ensuring that individuals receive appropriate care at the right time. With its implementation in 3,330 NHS practices, eConsult facilitates online access for millions of patients to their own GPs. Patients can engage with their NHS GP virtually by filling out a brief form, which is then reviewed by the practice.
