Yakuake is a versatile drop-down terminal emulator that utilizes KDE Konsole technology, smoothly descending from the top of your display. Once Yakuake is launched, you can easily configure it by clicking the Open Menu button located at the bottom right corner and selecting Configure Shortcuts to modify the default hotkey, which is F12, for dropping or retracting the terminal.
