Description
HoneyWire is a versatile open-source platform designed for deception technology, allowing users to implement canary-based tripwires throughout internal networks to identify unauthorized lateral movements and intrusion attempts.
The deployment process involves operators utilizing a terminal UI (TUI) command-line interface wizard to set up multiple "HoneyWires," which are lightweight, distroless imitation services, on any Linux server within the network.
Once deployed, these HoneyWires operate covertly in the background, lacking any legitimate purpose that would prompt interaction from authorized users or systems.
Upon an attacker engaging with a HoneyWire, a precise alert is triggered and sent to the centralized Hub as well as to designated notification channels, ensuring immediate awareness of potential security breaches.
Various deployment options are available, including imitation router login pages, canary TCP tarpits, and network scanning detectors, all aimed at enhancing security protocols.
The Hub serves as a self-hosted control center built on Go, which is implemented through Docker and manages the centralized oversight of all active HoneyWires while also streamlining configuration management by replacing traditional manual JSON configurations.
This comprehensive approach not only strengthens network security but also simplifies the management of deceptive technology within the system architecture.
Description
The design of electrical systems and wire harness engineering focuses on swift implementation and a minimal IT footprint. VeSys offers a comprehensive collection of wiring and harness design software tailored for organizations that prioritize user-friendliness and value alongside robust capabilities. By facilitating quick deployment and straightforward installation, VeSys empowers users to realize significant returns on investment through its powerful yet user-friendly features. The tools, VeSys Design and VeSys Harness, can function independently or in tandem, ensuring that wiring design information transitions smoothly into corresponding harness designs, thereby reducing workload and mitigating error risks. This approach guarantees rapid, first-attempt, error-free electrical and harness design, enhanced by various validation tools that include simulations for continuity, voltage drop, and current flow calculations. Additionally, the automated harness engineering process generates production-ready documentation, including drawings, bills of materials, cost estimates, numerical control files, and manufacturing reports, streamlining the entire production workflow. This efficiency not only supports rapid development but also contributes to higher overall quality in electrical system outputs.
