Description
HillGenius is an innovative platform that utilizes artificial intelligence to convert videos of congressional hearings into high-quality, searchable transcripts that are timestamped and include speaker identification, allowing teams to receive these transcripts in mere minutes instead of the traditional hours or days spent manually reviewing lengthy sessions. This advanced technology processes all congressional committee hearings and markups, ensuring that every sentence is accurately linked to its corresponding video for easy verification. Additionally, HillGenius features natural language processing capabilities, enabling users to pose questions and receive well-sourced answers directly from the transcripts, while its AI “Ghostwriter” tool aids in drafting memos and summaries based on the hearing content, significantly speeding up the reporting process and facilitating insight generation. With its indexed and searchable transcripts, policy teams can efficiently locate specific topics, quotes, and the necessary context without the need for tedious manual searches, resulting in a faster and more effective extraction of crucial information. As a result, HillGenius not only streamlines the transcription process but also enhances the overall productivity of teams engaged in policy analysis and legislative tracking.
Description
Stenobox serves as an alternative to MaxScribe for digital and electronic court reporters along with legal transcriptionists. By uploading audio from court proceedings or depositions, Stenobox generates a formatted draft of the transcript that includes verbatim dialogue, speaker identification, and proper court date and case formatting, along with headers for examinations and features for interpreter management. Instead of starting from a blank page, users receive a nearly complete draft which they can review against the original audio before certifying it as the official record. The platform primarily focuses on producing the transcripts while allowing users to verify their accuracy without the need to retype everything. Additionally, there is a built-in review mechanism that highlights areas that may require attention, and clicking on any word directly plays back that moment from the recording for easy cross-referencing. Plans run $129 a month for 25 audio hours, $199 for 50, or $349 for 100, with $25 buying 5 more hours — no per-minute charges — and a 7-day trial is offered for new users to explore the service. The subscription operates on a month-to-month basis, allowing users to cancel whenever they wish. Uploaded audio is automatically deleted after 30 days unless users opt to retain it until they manually delete it, and the recordings are never repurposed for creating any other products. This ensures the privacy and integrity of the user's files throughout their experience with Stenobox.
