Description

Fluxmail enables the integration of AI agents and software tools with current email accounts, utilizing either hosted or self-hosted systems. It is compatible with a range of services, including Gmail, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Outlook, and Exchange, as well as various IMAP/SMTP mailboxes. Once permissions are granted, users can perform actions such as searching through messages, reading emails, downloading attachments, drafting, sending, or forwarding emails, and organizing their inboxes with labels and folders. This functionality is made possible through an MCP server tailored for compatible AI clients, a REST API for various applications and scripts, and a command-line interface for added flexibility. Users in the cloud authenticate via OAuth, while those opting for self-hosted solutions can set up their systems using npm or Docker, ensuring that credentials are securely encrypted on the host machine. Furthermore, permissions for mailboxes and actions can be finely tuned, allowing for options like read-only access. Ultimately, Fluxmail caters to developers, agent creators, and anyone looking to enhance their existing email experience with AI assistance effectively. This versatile tool not only streamlines email management but also empowers users to leverage artificial intelligence in their daily communications.

Description

lfr is an all-in-one mail server and newsletter solution designed as a single Go binary that operates on both Linux and macOS platforms. This tool empowers developers, self-hosters, and small teams to easily create and manage mailboxes for their domains, handle aliases and forwarding, and efficiently search and respond to emails while also allowing for domain mail record configuration. Its newsletter features include customizable double-opt-in signup lists, Markdown-based content for issues, hosted archives along with signup websites, an easy one-click unsubscribe option, and effective handling of bounces and complaints, all facilitated through a configurable SMTP relay if direct sending isn't possible. The command-line interface can be accessed either locally or through SSH, providing functionality for setup and diagnostics related to server, DNS, and mail delivery. lfr is made available under the MIT license, meaning that while the software itself is free, users are responsible for managing and financing their own server and any optional relay services they choose to utilize. With its robust capabilities and user-friendly approach, lfr stands out as an ideal choice for those looking to maintain control over their email and newsletter operations.
