Description
FMOS is an online platform that facilitates the design and manufacturing process for modular furniture enterprises, catering to a range of users such as interior designers, design firms, manufacturers, and creators of kitchens and wardrobes. Teams can effectively manage their clients and projects while configuring furniture either from reusable templates or bespoke units, all while adjusting dimensions, internal structures, materials, and finishes to meet specific needs. The modules created can be reviewed through detailed 2D drawings and an interactive 3D view in the browser, which accommodates various layouts, including L-shaped kitchens. Additionally, workspace rules meticulously check the designs for aspects like joinery, gaps, and shelf spans prior to finalization. Following this, FMOS efficiently generates the necessary panels and cutlists, organizes panels for nesting on sheets, and compiles bills of materials, quantities, pricing, and project quotations, all derived from the same furniture data. Teams have the flexibility to print or export cutlists and sheet plans, as well as create DXF or G-code for nesting tasks. Furthermore, the platform includes role-based permissions to manage design, validation, nesting, pricing, and the approval of quotations, ensuring streamlined collaboration among users. Ultimately, FMOS enhances operational efficiency and accuracy within the modular furniture industry.
