Description
DualDesk offers a robust and user-friendly remote support solution that requires a one-time payment, enabling your technical support team to assist any PC connected to the internet through firewalls in mere seconds without any configuration needed. Enhance efficiency, conserve resources, and deliver comprehensive remote help desk services to numerous clients at once, all while being able to transfer files, engage in chat, reboot and auto-reconnect, and control remote systems in real-time, even in "Safe Mode," without needing to pre-install any software on the target computer. Since its inception in 2001, DualDesk has established itself as a reliable remote support tool that is compatible with various Windows versions such as 7, Vista, 2008, 2003, XP, and 2000 across different modes of service. Unlike basic remote support systems, DualDesk eliminates the necessity of opening multiple ports for various technicians, allowing for an unlimited number of technician seats to be managed from a single support file. Additionally, multiple clients can concurrently connect to a single remote support technician, making it an ideal choice for busy support environments. This flexibility and efficiency make DualDesk a standout option for businesses seeking to optimize their remote support capabilities.
Description
SecureDesk is a self-hosted platform aimed at remote support and device management specifically for Windows systems, ensuring that the user's own infrastructure handles all interactions without relying on external cloud services. It features two modes of connection: attended sessions, which provide real-time assistance with the end user's approval, and unattended access for managing devices that do not have staff present, like servers or kiosks. Additionally, for more complex troubleshooting needs, technicians can access a SYSTEM-level shell to execute administrative commands directly on the device. Central to its architecture is a robust encryption model; both the technician's console and the remote device independently create their own AES-256-GCM encryption keys, with connections initiated solely from the endpoints. The self-hosted relay that facilitates each session only transmits encrypted data and does not possess any keys, ensuring that even the operator of the relay cannot decrypt or view the content of the sessions. This design not only enhances security but also provides peace of mind to users who prioritize data protection during remote interactions.
