Description
Unlike most monitors that simply notify you of a job's ping, RunVouch goes a step further by confirming whether the task was actually completed. It meticulously tracks vital information such as the start and end times, costs, token usage, tool calls, and ensures that the necessary evidence of a run's completion is present, alerting users if anything is amiss. This system can identify various issues, including a run that never started, stalled executions, non-zero exits, infinite retry loops, runs exceeding their cost limits, and even those elusive tasks that appear to have succeeded while their outputs were never generated.
Each completed run is hashed into a leaf, with daily leaves combined into a Merkle root that connects to the previous day and is timestamped on the Bitcoin blockchain using OpenTimestamps, ensuring that reports are immutable and cannot be altered by anyone, including the developers themselves. This allows anyone to verify a sealed run through their browser without needing an account, and they can even modify a field to see the hashes become invalid.
The client is a standalone Python file that operates without any dependencies, wrapping any command and designed to fail open, thereby ensuring that job monitoring remains intact. It supports various platforms such as Claude Code, OpenClaw, n8n, GitHub Actions, cron, systemd, Slack, and MCP. With a generous offer of free usage for up to 20 agents, it is available under the MIT license and can be self-hosted, making it a flexible solution for diverse monitoring needs. Additionally, its ability to integrate seamlessly with existing tools enhances its practicality for users looking for reliable job execution verification.
