Description
MaxBackups is a cloud-based backup solution designed for both Windows and Mac computers, offering integrated cloud storage with every subscription. Users have the flexibility to choose specific folders or external drives for backup, with the option to perform backups either manually or on a preset schedule, and they can easily access their backup history to recover files, folders, or previous versions of their data. The software employs incremental backups that optimize storage by only saving changes, and it also utilizes deduplication and lossless compression techniques to further minimize storage requirements. For security, backup data is encrypted both during transmission and while stored in the cloud, with MaxBackups overseeing the management of encryption keys to ensure data safety. The various plans cater to individual computers, multiple devices within a household, or small teams, and users can opt for additional storage and team devices for a recurring monthly fee, offering flexible solutions for different usage scenarios. Overall, MaxBackups provides a comprehensive and secure backup experience tailored to a range of needs.
