Description

Cognistat stands out as a premier cognitive evaluation tool that examines five key areas of cognitive abilities: language, spatial reasoning, memory, calculations, and logical reasoning. Developed at Stanford University, this assessment tool is standardized for use among adolescents, adults, and seniors aged 60 to 84, allowing for broad applicability. It is designed to be administered by healthcare professionals who have received appropriate training. Furthermore, Cognistat has been culturally adapted and validated in various languages through partnerships with esteemed universities, academic institutions, and global clients. Its effectiveness is substantiated by over 400 peer-reviewed scientific studies that document its application in cases involving stroke, dementia, traumatic brain injuries, significant psychiatric conditions, and substance abuse. The Cognistat Assessment System retains the valued features of its traditional paper and pencil version, providing a swift yet thorough evaluation while employing a screening and metric approach to assess cognitive functioning comprehensively. This adaptability and thoroughness make it a vital resource in various clinical settings, enhancing the assessment process for diverse patient populations.

Description

Mental health problems are common, with 1 in 5 people suffering from them. Many people don't realize that the reason they are suffering is because of their mental health. Mental health issues are often ignored, which can lead to poor physical health, loss in productivity, substance abuse, and even death. Because mental health conditions are so common, it is imperative that a mental screening tool can accurately and quickly identify each individual's unique mental status. The current mental screening tools are based on tools that were developed between 20 and 50 years ago. Many screenings can be done for one condition at a given time. Although these screening tools were converted to electronic format for delivery of the tools, no effort has been made to make them more intelligent.
