Description
CloudGrab is designed for BIM, QS, engineering, and construction professionals who regularly receive massive drawing packages, models, and project files through SharePoint and OneDrive folder structures. Large downloads at 16GB, or more often fail, disconnect, or lose folder hierarchy during browser downloads. CloudGrab provides a faster, more reliable way to download entire cloud folders while preserving the original structure and reducing interrupted transfers.
This tool enables users to simply paste a public share link into the application, select a destination folder on their local device, and efficiently oversee the download process via an intuitive desktop interface. It proves particularly beneficial for obtaining large sets of files, complex nested folders, collaborative project directories, and extensive document libraries that could be cumbersome or tedious to download manually through traditional web browsers.
Additionally, CloudGrab offers features like download queues, preservation of folder structures, automatic clipboard link detection, tracking of download progress, recovery options for interrupted downloads, automatic retries for failed attempts, a history log, local activity logs, and integrated ZIP file extraction capabilities. Notably, the software operates with supported shared links without the need for users to input or store their Microsoft account credentials within the application, enhancing user security and convenience. Furthermore, its user-friendly design makes it accessible for both novice and expert users alike.
